Twarit: Cabinet approves to increase central government employees allowance by 2 per cent

The Cabinet has approved the proposal to hike the dearness allowance (DA) by 2 per cent.The hike in Dearness Allowance for Central government employees and pensioners was earlier expected during Diwali. This will benefit around 50 lakh employees.
